GiveAway: Confessions of a Shopaholic

Who doesn't love free stuff?  Or more specifically - free books.  That's right, you heard it folks, this is ElishaReads' first giveaway. I would make inappropriate innuendos regarding my giveaway virginity, but as the Bare Naked Ladies' song goes, it's all been dooooone before.

So I'll simply get down to business. The deets:

You can win these two lovely books by Sophie Kinsella - Confessions of a Shopaholic & Shopaholic Takes Manhattan.

All you have to do is a leave a comment below answering this question:

What is one of the best can-not-live-without-it fiction novels that you've read?

Please leave a way for me to contact you (email address, link to your blog, etc.).

Good Luck!

  1. One of the best novels? Anything by Jodi Picoult. My absolute favorite novel (of the moment) is A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. I read A LOT, but Kinsella's "Undomestic Goddess" has always been a good vacation read for me. However, the one book I'm dying to own and reread over and over again is "A Prayer for Owen Meany". Without a doubt in my top 3.

You can contact me on my blog bartlebeesbumblings.blogspot.com or my email ddtoothpick@yahoo.com :D

  2. Can I choose a kids book? Island of the Blue Dolphins. That was such a memorable read for me when I was a kid. It inspired hours of make-believe pretending to live on a deserted island (aka my bedroom, with a "cave" made out of a sheet, "fishing" for socks strewn on the floor at the foot of my bed). Good times.

  3. I'm going to have to be cliche and say Twilight! Haha. I swore to all my friends that I wouldn't get sucked in by the vampire madness...but it happened...and I've been obsessed ever since! :)

  4. The first chick lit book was Jemima J by Jane Green- always have a special place for it. And loved/loved to hate the Wideacre trilogy by Phillipa Gregory but the The Other Boleyn Girl came before that (for me). I rarely reread but those stick out as memorable.

I already have the books but I am a new follower and wanted to comment. :)

  6. *Sorry, realized I didn't want to get my e-mail spammed*

The Pillars of the Earth was def. a great one... It had everything — Romance, history, war, family, family secrets... I just loved it!

  7. Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. It is fantastically creepy and thoughtful and I love every single page of it!

    Giveaway Closed!

  9. So I know the giveaway is closed but I would like to share my favorite. My favorite fiction that I've read is: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Great story. Blessings to you. -R.

  10. Rachel - strangely enough I just finished reading The Alchemist on July 6th. I randomly picked it up on audio at the library when I was perusing the shelves and I quickly decided that I love it. Thanks for the recommendation!
